Case Study

In early 2009 Denbighshire County Council got the go ahead from the Welsh Assembly Government for the West Rhyl Coastal Defence Scheme. The job consisted of 70,000 tonne of rock revetment, 350nr 12.5m long piles to form the foundation for the new 550m long precast wave wall.

On the 2nd of August 2011 Banagher Precast Concrete were awarded the contract to supply 200m of  Inner Harbour Wall and 350m of Outer Harbour Wall.We manufactured 2nr sample units in late August 2011, both the client and the contractor visited our factory to satisfy themselves with the units and issued us with approval to proceed into manufacture.

Manufacture took place from September 2011 until February 2012, with delivery taking place from November 2011 until February 2012.

We also aided with the installation on site.
